We provide Residential Services and supports for adults with mental retardation in a variety of living situations.
The goal of the Support Service is to encourage and assist individuals in obtaining their goals, dreams and wishes.
Personal growth, development and satisfaction are emphasized in our methodologies. Some of the skills training include but are not limited to the following areas:
Activities of Daily Living
Community Involvement
Socialization
Safety Skills
Recreational/Leisure Skills
Preventative Health Care
Crisis Intervention
The Services and Supports are based in the individuals home or apartment. The level of supports may vary from six hours a week to 24 hours a day. We currently support individuals in two different types of services; residential supports and individual supports with flexible hours.
Funding for these services is derived
primarily through the Massachusetts
Department of Mental Retardation.
